Condition

The illustration is accurate. Overall good condition. One small break to the top of the marble base. A small chip to the lower molding of the same marble base. Otherwise there are a few minor chips and hair cracks to both bases. A flower is missing on one bunch of flowers between the arms of light and two are missing on the other candelabra. Exquisite details with a lovely chasing. This lot is en suite with an additional lot which is not in the paper catalogue but visible on the website (lot 230). Lot 230 is the same model without the arms of light which are missing. Both lots represent the four seasons. Lot 229 : autumn (grapes) and spring (flowers), and lot 230 : summer (wheat) and winter (fur cape and oak leaves). The marble of lot 229 would benefit from a small cleaning to match the color of the marble of lot 230. The height of the marble bases of lot 229 and 240 is slightly different.
