Chancery folio (273 x 186mm.), 96 leaves (of 98, without 2 final blank leaves), *6 A8 B–P6, 50 lines plus headline, gothic type, 2- to 5-line initial spaces with printed guides, large woodcut illustration on verso of title-page, woodcut diagrams and illustrations, nineteenth-century half calf by Potter & Sons of York, first few leaves crudely repaired at edges, many upper corners of leaves repaired, a few page edges friable
