Condition
Canvas is relined and stable. The surface is clean and the painting is presentable. The paint surface has been somewhat pressed in the aforementioned relining, however detail remains very good, coloration is strong and painting reads well. Under UV light: there is some retouching in the orange drapery of the figure at lower right, on the column at upper center, and some scattered in the sky. Overall, the figures look good with only a few minor retouches here and there. This painting could be hung as is.
Offered in an elaborately carved and gilt wood frame.
