Condition
The canvas is relined. This painting is in overall very good condition. The paint service is clean and has an even fresh varnish. UV light reveals some small scattered retouches in the sky, though these are quite minimal. There are a couple of other larger areas, namely a repaired hole in the upper right quadrant measuring approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" there are also repairs along the right and left edge likely from old frame abrasion. This picture can and probably should be hung in its current condition. In a carved gilt wood frame.
