Condition
Oil on canvas, newly lined and with a new stretcher. The surface is in generally good condition. There is a fine, stable web of craquelure visible over the subjects face and through the curtain behind her. Surface dirt and a mottled varnish. Under UV light, retouches are visible throughout the figures face and costume to address previous losses and craquelure. Some heavier retouching to the figures red belt.
