The necklace designed as a meandering vine with a bow-shaped clasp, supporting a pendant in the form of a flower vase topped by an additional bow motif, the vase set with a demi-briolette diamond measuring approximately 13.5 by 8.4 mm, the flowers accented by variously-cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds, set throughout with rose-cut diamonds, length 13 inches, with French assay and maker's marks, four colored stones missing; late 19th century. With signed and fitted box.

Condition

In good condition with evidence of discoloration and gentle surface wear throughout, commensurate with age. Nicely delicate in design and appearance. The demi-briolette diamond is approximately K-L color, SI clarity. The rubies are a medium to medium-deep pinkish red and slightly to moderately included. The sapphires are a medium-deep violetish blue and slightly included. The emeralds are a bright medium green and slightly included. Four colored stones missing. The diamonds are near-colorless and decorative in quality, and please note that one small rose-cut diamond is missing. Maker's mark located on the mounting of the bud vase. Length of pendant approximately 1 7/8 inches, necklace fitted with a safety chain. The signed and fitted box is intact and displays very minor wear.
