The double-strand necklace centering a foliate motif applied with red and brown enamel, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 1.15 carats, gross weight approximately 68 dwts, length 15 inches, signed M. Gerard, Made in France, numbered B15, with French assay and maker's marks for Andre Vassort; together with earclips of similar design, set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat, gross weight approximately 13 dwts, signed M. Gerard, Made in France, numbered B16, with French assay and maker's marks for André Vassort.

Condition

In good condition, with some light areas of tarnish to the gold, commensurate with age. The central leaf on the necklace and a leaf on the left ear clip exhibit small areas of enamel loss, not noticeable when worn and otherwise intact and richly colored. Diamonds are approximately G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. The earclips additionally numbered 3 and 34 respectively. Necklace fitted with a safety closure. Length of earclips approximately 1 1/4 inches.
