Sapphire and diamond necklace

Set with oval, cushion-shaped and step-cut sapphires, circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, length approximately 430mm, three small diamonds deficient.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 89130, stating that twenty-one sapphires estimated to weigh a total of approximately 125 carats, measuring from approximately 8.30 x 6.05 x 2.55mm to approximately 31.80 x 15.60 x 6.75mm, are of Ceylon origin and two are of basaltic origin, all with no indications of heating. Sapphires blue of medium to medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, abrasions, scratches and small nicks. For more information on the sapphires, please refer to the SSEF report. Due to the cutting style, the total diamond weight is difficult to estimate. Three small diamonds deficient. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use, little evidence of repairs. Clasp secure, safety catch. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 74 grams.
