Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 7.59 carats between half-moon diamond shoulders, size 511/2, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76097, dated 28 August 2014, and Gübelin report no. 14100024, dated 13 October 2014, each stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 7.59 carats, measuring 11.16 x 10.80 x 6.97mm, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, the SSEF report also stating 'royal blue' colour, together with an appendix letter. Indistinct French maker's mark. French assay marks for platinum and gold. Inscribed 7.60, referring to the carat weight of the sapphire. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with good transparency, small typical inclusions visible under close inspection, minor abrasions to the girdle. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF and Gübelin reports. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 6 grams.
