Each composed of five rows of carved emerald beads interspersed with an oval motif set with cabochon rubies, the front of buckle design set with calibré-cut and cabochon rubies, applied with green enamel highlighted with table-cut diamonds, the sides and reverse applied with polychrome enamel, length approximately 175mm each, may be worn as a necklace, length approximately 350mm.

Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, small scratches, nicks and chips. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red of medium strong saturation, some with typical inclusions, small scratches and abrasions. Enamel with scratches, nicks and areas of loss. Due to the cutting style and setting, the total diamond weight is difficult to estimate. Signs of wear and scratches to the metal. Clasps secure. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 161 grams. Unsigned fitted case.
