Emerald, onyx, enamel and diamond necklace

The central plaque of open work design, millegrain-set with a cabochon emerald and rose diamonds, applied with black enamel and gold motifs, the necklace and pendent tassel composed of faceted emerald and onyx beads, length approximately 445mm, French assay and maker's marks.

French maker's mark, French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Cabochon emerald measuring approximately 13.35 x 13.45 mm (depth not measurable), green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few scratches. Emerald beads well matched in colour, green of medium strong to strong saturation, with abrasions, scratches, nicks and chips. Onyx beads in overall good condition, with small scratches. Enamel in good condition. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of wear and scratches to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 79 grams.
