Designed as a bouquet of poppy and cornflowers, the petals embellished with circular-cut rubies or sapphires weighing approximately 20.00 and 8.00 carats in total respectively, to the calibré-cut tourmaline petiole, highlighted with a circular-cut diamond-set ribbon, mounted in 18 karat white and plated gold, signed Michele della Valle and numbered, case stamped Michele della Valle.

Condition

Signed Michele della Valle, numbered 150744 with Italian assay mark for 18K gold. Stamped 750 for 18 karat white and plated gold. Rubies of pinkish red colour are well matched and of strong saturation, estimated to weigh approximately 20.00 carats in total, with minor typical inclusions, some surface reaching under 10X magnification, but generally not visible. Sapphires, estimated to weigh approximately 8.00 carats in total, are medium blue of medium strong to strong saturation and with typical inclusions under 10X magnification. Tourmaline, estimated to weigh approximately 1.80 carats in total, are medium yellowish green colour of good saturation and generally eye clean. Diamonds, estimate to weigh approximately 1.50 carats in total, are on average J to K colour and mostly SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Enamel in very good condition. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. Overall in very good condition. Case signed Michele della Valle.
