Condition

The sheet is attached to the mount with four tabs, one at each of the corners. The sheet appears sound, and the left, lower and right edges are deckled. There are artist's pinholes at both the upper corners. There is an extremely tiny tear to the upper right corner. There is some very slight rounding to the tips of the corners. There are some extremely tiny lines of craquelure to some of the gouache in places, most apparent in the lower left and lower right shapes. There is some slight discolouration and minor surface dirt to the extreme edges of the sheet. There is a very tiny scuff to the blue pigment in the lower left. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The sheet is float mounted and presented in a simple wooden frame, held under glass.
