Unexamined out of frame. The sheet has been fully laid down on to the backing board. The edges are slightly deckled. There are artist's pinholes in all four corners. There are a very small number of tiny tears to the left edge in the upper left quadrant, and to the right edge in the upper and lower right corners, largely in line with the aforementioned pinholes. There appears to be a few tiny instances of studio matter such as in the proper left arm of the figure in the foreground, and some small accretions to the sheet. There also appears to be some slight staining and surface dirt, with one or two tiny spots of light foxing. Subject to the above the works appears to be in overall good condition.
