Condition

The board appears sound. There are some extremely minor, very slight frame abrasions to the extreme edges of the board, only partially visible in the present frame, including an area of very slight compression to the extreme bottom left corner. There are a couple of tiny instances of very minor loss, as well as a couple of very minor instances of old infilling, only visible upon very close inspection. There are a few tiny traces of very minor surface dirt, but this excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals an area of fluorescence and probable retouching to the bottom left corner, to the aforementioned slight compression. There are also one or two very small flecks of retouching to the centre of the work. These have all been very sensitively executed. Housed in a thick, light wooden frame.
