Condition
Structurally sound, there is an old firing hairline visible to the underside of the foot, which is in keeping with the nature of the Artist's techniques and materials. There are some small, old very minor spots of loss to the extreme rim of the charger, in keeping with Cardew's low-fired earthenware work, and some smaller tiny flecks of loss to the glaze, as well as a light crackle to areas of the glaze, again in keeping with the nature of the Artist's techniques and materials. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
