- Almanach royal, Pour l’an bissextil Mil sept cens quatre. Paris, Laurent d’Houry [1703].

In-8 (184 x 120 mm). Vélin ivoire aux armes de France couronnées sur fond semé de fleur de lis, dos lisse orné du chiffre royal couronné et fleurs de lis en alternance, tranches dorées (Reliure de l’époque). Chemise doublée de coton imprimé (scène de chasse) et étui portant au dos le titre doré sur une languette de parchemin, en carton, modernes. Le calendrier est interfolié de feuillets blancs.
Dates manuscrites à l’encre sur le dos et en tête du premier plat.
Exceptionnel exemplaire, en condition parfaite, tel que paru, du tout jeune almanach, qualifié de "royal" par Laurent d’Houry suite à la permission d’imprimer que lui donne personnellement Louis XIV en 1699.
L’almanach d’Houry comporte à cette date près d’une centaine de pages. Il atteindra 500 pages en 1760, près de 700 à la Révolution et plus de 1000 sous la Restauration.
Trace d’un ex-libris ancien ou d’une étiquette de papetier au premier contreplat.
Dates manuscrites à l’encre sur le dos et en tête du premier plat.
