Catalogue Note
Second edition (originally published in 1582) of this fine series of engravings depicting various types of hunting and fishing, set in beautiful landscapes with interesting period detail. Some are based on Stradanus's series of engraved hunting scenes with the same Latin captions (New Hollstein, Philips Galle III, 519-562).
