Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The media layer is stable, and the colors are vibrant. A two-inch diagonal scuff is present in the lower left quadrant, two inches from the bottom edge of the canvas. A two-inch vertical drip accretion is present in the lower center, one inch from the bottom edge of the canvas. Three additional minor drip accretions measuring less than an inch in legnth are present in the lower left quadrant of the work, in the sand beneath the boat.
