Condition
Original canvas. Some isolated signs of craquelure across the canvas and a few spots of surface dirt; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Under ultraviolet light there appear to be a couple of small areas of retouching near centre of right edge and in water above the dog's tail, lower left corner.
Held in a cream coloured composite frame.
