La mer: The medium is oil on canvas, the canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition. The canvas edges are visible in the current framing. The side edges (folded over the stretchers) are covered with an old tape. There is surface dirt throughout. The white paint along all four visible edges of the canvas is unvarnished. No apparent inpainting. Trois fenêtres cosmiques: The medium is oil on canvas, the canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition. The canvas edges are visible in the current framing. The side edges (folded over the stretchers) are covered with an old tape. There are some very small light brown accretions near the edge in the lower left corner. There is some minor buckling to the canvas in the corners. Along the right edge there is a tiny point of raised pigment. The white paint along the edges in unvarnished. No apparent inpainting. Both: The colors are bright and fresh and the works present very well.
