The medium is oil on canvas. The canvas is not lined. There is some frame rubbing with some associated losses in the edges, as well as a few small losses near the upper corners. There is some surface dirt throughout. There is cracquelure throughout, and some pigment separation in the dark greens of the trees at right and left. Under UV: there are some very small dashes of inpainting scattered in the tree cluster at right; there are a few areas of inpainting along the visible edges.
