Condition
The first: The medium is oil on canvas, the canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition. There is some minor cracquelure mostly in the ground and sky in the left portion of the work. There is good impasto retained in the thickly painted areas. There is some minor surface dirt Under UV: there is no apparent inpainting. The work presents very well.
The second: The medium is oil on wood panel. The work is in very good overall condition. There is some minor surface dirt. The impasto appears fresh. There is what looks like a very faint surface scratch extending down an inch from the top visible edge, about 6 inches from the left. In the sky there is some barely perceptible fine cracquelure. Under UV: there is no apparent inpainting. The work presents very well.
