Condition
The medium is oil on canvas. The canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition. There are some scattered lines of craquelure throughout. There is nice impasto retained in places. There is some minor surface dirt and minor frame abrasion. Under UV: there is inpainting along the entire visible top edge, as well as in some areas along the other three visible edges, most likely in keeping with old frame abrasion. There is also a circular area of inpainting in the upper right corner, about 2in. in diameter. The colors are strong and the work presents well.
