Condition
The medium is pencil on paper. The sheet is hinged to the mat backing at 2 points along the top edge verso. There are 1 inch margins between the bottom and left edges of the drawing and the sheet, covered by the matting. There are some small areas of lightening and repair, near the right visible edge, in the large eye. There is soft darkening to the area around the hinge tape. There is gentle light stain throughout. The extreme lower left corner in the margin has been lost. There is a small spot of darkening, possibly a spot of foxing, in the extreme right edge, in the margin. There are minor handling creases throughout. The medium is strong and the work presents very well.
