Condition
The panel is sound and examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. The panel is slightly warped and there are several artist's pin holes to all four corners, two of which have resulted in tiny surface losses in the upper left corner. There is a very fine horizontal hairline crack to the panel, approximately 15cm. long, starting from the centre of the left edge and running across the composition. There are some burst air bubbles in places, which are inherent to the artist's process. There are small remnants of brown paper to spots of thicker impasto, most notably in the lower right quadrant. This work is in overall good condition.
