Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition with wear, scuffing, and nicks consistent with age and regular use. Case with areas of oxidation and debris which may benefit from cleaning. Coin edge band with wear and scuffing. bezel with light scuffing and very small nicks. Case back inscribed "E.R.D. JR. August 31st 1986." Screws with wear and material inconsistencies. Dial in very good condition with some light debris. Power reserve, moon phases, and date function working properly. Movement in excellent condition. ***Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to international shipping.***
