Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in poor condition with heavy wear, scuffing, and markings consistent with daily use. Upper right lug with scuffing and two diagonal surface scratches approximately 6 mm in length. Heavy abrasion to the stepped corners. Upper left lug with small indentations on it's face. Lower left lug with a darker surface marking. Surface wear and scuffing to case bands. Case back with normal scuffing consistent with wear. Dual time and date functions working properly. Dial and movement in excellent condition. Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to shipping.
