Catalogue Note

Seiko in Japanese means “exquisite” and “success”. Being the first Japanese company that has entered the Swiss chronometry contest and gained its qualification for chronometers, Seiko has proved its dedication and professional in watchmaking.

Despite being a non-Swiss watchmaking company, in 1969, the caliber 4580 has passed the rigorous test and certified as Observatory Chronometer. The Observatory Chronometer has established high standards of precision in the watchmaking industry. To build a watch that is precise, durable and easy to wear, The Grand Seiko VFA has launched the “very fine adjusted” movement in 1969. In development of the luxurious side of the brand, Credor has captured the classic market, which demonstrates elegance and eternity.  Today, Seiko still challenges itself by producing innovative while accurate movement.
