- Alexandrite, Diamond, Platinum
Set with a marquise-shaped alexandrite weighing 0.91 carat, surrounded with circular-cut alexandrites stated to weigh approximately 1.85 carats in total, to the circular-cut diamond-set frame and shoulders, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6¼
Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 16011080, stating that the 0.91 carat alexandrite is natural, of Brazilian origin, with no indications of treatment and displays a strong colour-change. Please refer to the report for further details.
Inscribed PT950 for platinum, and 0.91ct, A1.85ct and D0.60ct referring to the weight of the alexandrites and diamonds. Alexandrites of medium dark tone and medium strong saturation, well-matched and display strong colour-change phenomenon, from bluish green in daylight to purple under incandescent light, with typical inclusions and a few are surface reaching, a few minor chips. Diamonds are on average G to I colour, VVS to VS clarity, as graded in the mounting.
Signs of very minor wear to the metal, overall in excellent condition.
