Condition

Overall very good condition. When viewed in person the lantern presents with an exceptionally rich russet brown coloration which is richer and more nuanced than compared to the catalogue illustration. The hand-wrought copper surfaces retain their original patina and show minimal surface wear, rubbing and some light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The original glass with very minor scattered air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in its production. An outstanding example of this exceedingly rare and impressive lantern model by Stickley.
