Condition
Overall in good condition. The surfaces with scattered chips, scuffs and scratches to the lacquer concentrated to the central stem, consistent with age and use. The rim of the shade with minor nicks and abrasions. The central front panel of the shade with two very minor shallow impressions. The lacquer to the same area of the shade has been sensitively filled at some point and is visible only on close inspection. The interior of the shade with minor discoloration and yellowing. The brass pivot joint has been replaced at some point in the history of the piece. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician.
