Overall in good condition. The leather appears to be original and presents with a rich chocolate brown when viewed in person.The leather with a few minor surface scratches, minor wear, light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use and a few minor and very sensitively undertaken restorations to the top. The top of the seat with a minor hairline scratch measuring approximately ¾ inch to one side. The corner of the seat with three minor round tears, the largest measuring ½ x ¾ inch and stable.The legs with a few minor expected abrasions, light surface dirt and a few small areas of discoloration The black lacquered frame under the seat with minor wear and minor oxidation consistent with age and use The brass feet with some expected oxidation, wear and surface scratches consistent with age and use. A very elegant stool with pure geometric lines.
