Condition
Overall in very good condition, consistent with age and gentle use. The stone table top presents with minor rubbing in areas and a few minor surface marks and water rings consistent with gentle use (the largest of which is a ring of 11 x 3 in.). Two small lines (approx. 2 in.), likely from ink, to the top. The outer perimeter of the table in good condition, presenting with a lovely shimmering effect from the resin covered aluminum honeycomb. There are two very minor hairlines in the resin to one (narrower) side as well as one minor hairline at the opposite corner. These are nearly undetectable, but more to the touch. All legs are in very good condition with some faint and minor scuffing. The legs each have an internal weight for security. The top and legs can be separated for ease of shipment and come with associated hardware. The total weight for the work is 716 lbs. An architectural and minimalist form, the table is masterfully executed with clean lines and accented with brilliant silver highlights at the perimeter. Truly characteristic of Szekely's oeuvre, this contemporary work presents very well overall.
