Condition

Overall in very good condition. The charred wood surfaces with cracking, chips and losses throughout inherent to the production of the piece and intended by the artist. The surfaces with minor lifting to the epoxy resin varnish throughout, though not visually distracting. The base of the rear proper left leg with minor residue to the recessed areas, possibly inherent to the production of the piece. Due to the nature of the production, the piece is extremely fragile and should be handled accordingly. Offered together with a unique, handmade, felted silk, Merino wool and silk chiffon cushion designed by Claudy Jongstra, The Netherlands. A modern reinterpretation of a classic model.
