Condition
Overall in very good condition. The sculptural fish element to the top is executed using torn pieces of Formica. The torn edges illuminate at different opacities, which adds great depth and range to the sculpture when lit. The fish with a few surface scratches and some minor surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use.The lacquered top presents with a few scattered and minor minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle handling. One of the legs of the base with an "X" marked in pencil located approximately halfway down from the lacquered top. One of the four pine legs is very, very faintly bowed to the right at the bottom eighth of the leg. This is minimal and not visibly distracting. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician. A very strong example of this series which presents well overall.
