Condition
Overall very good condition. The wood surfaces present with faint minor rubbing, nicks and scattered minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use. The underside with the original owner's name in faded black ink. The burls of the freeform edge are all intact and original. There is a small hairline to the proper left side of the last group of burls, but this is inherent in production and stable. There is a faint and very minor scuff to the table top (approx. 2 in.) and not visually distracting. Dating from 1958, the table is in excellent, age appropriate condition, presenting with an interesting, asymmetrical burled edge, no doubt hand selected by Nakashima himself.
