Condition
Overall in good original condition. The sculpture showing a very detailed patination, which inherently varies across the work. The metal with light wear, minor oxidation and variations to the coating, most of which is inherent in the design. The tonality of the metal is variegated and less brassy when viewed in person, emphasizing more nickeled/silver tones. Two to three "leaves" are soldered at an angle and this is intended by the artist. On the proper right at mid-height, there is one leaf that is very slightly bent forward, however this is not visually distracting. The piece exhibits a nice three-dimensionality to it, sitting approximately 17 inches from the wall, with multiple layers of planes. The work secures to the wall via a single metal ring. A complex sculptural work which, in person, appears to float weightless on the wall.
