Condition
Overall very good condition. Very minor rubbing to the patination on the center of the spine and to the corners of the base, with very minor dust in some of the crevices throughout. Traces of felt remain on the underside of the base. There is a minute surface fissure (approximately 1/16 of an inch) to the perimeter edge of the base adjacent to the elephant's trunk which appears to be inherent in the casting. A beautiful and well executed example which was in the collection of Louis C. Tiffany.
Base plate: 7 x 3 1/4 in.
