Condition

Overall very good condition. The oak surfaces throughout appear to retain their original finish, displaying a deep brown color that is richer when viewed in person compared to the catalogue illustration. The oak surfaces with some light wear throughout consistent with age and gentle use, showing some occasional light surface scratches, abrasions, edge wear with some small associated edge losses, and some minor traces of surface soiling to the recessed contours. The upper interior edge of the proper left armrest with an old chip measuring approximately 1 inch long. The front-facing surface of the front proper left vertical rail with a small dark discoloration near the top edge, not visually detractive. The proper right back leg with some minor age cracks, stable, and some scattered small chips to the edges. The proper left back leg with a small chip to the interior edge of the foot measuring approximately 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch, partially visible in the catalogue illustration. With a leather seatback cushion not pictured in the catalogue illustration. The cushions have been reupholstered and the leather presents with scattered minor surface scratches, scuffs and sun fading consistent with age and use. A particularly attractive example of the model which presents with great visual presence.
