Condition
Overall very good condition. The copper surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, and scattered minor discolorations and traces of oxidation. The hoods of each lantern with more concentrated scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The original glass presents with a rich warm ochre hue. The glass surfaces with some extremely minor and fine surface scratches and with some air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making, not visually detractive. A highly dynamic and elegant form with strong visual presence.
