Overall very good condition. The ground with some light discoloration around the perimeter and with some scattered faint darker discolorations within the negative space of the image, not visually detractive and visible in the catalogue illustration. With a slight discoloration in the lower left margin, just below the dark embroidered border, measuring approximately 1/2 inch wide, visible in the catalogue illustration. The silk rose petals with some very faint discolorations, not visually detractive and visible in the catalogue illustration. The embroidery is executed in several different stitches and the thread is in good condition. The embroidery is framed by a black synthetic fabric border which is partially detached on the left side. A beautifully executed work exemplifying the Glasgow Four aesthetic.
