Condition

Overall in very good condition. The pewter presents with a smooth and bright surface in beautiful contrast to with the blue and green hues of the enamelwork. The pewter surfaces with a few light surface scratches and a few minute abrasions, consistent with age and gentle handling. The recessed portions of the design with evidence of polish residue. The enamelwork has been examined under black light and appears original and undisturbed. The glass face appears to be original and is in good condition with a few light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. The base plate is lacking one screw. Movement is not guaranteed to run at the time of cataloging and was not tested for accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer’s discretion. A charming small scale carriage clock.
