Condition

Overall in very good condition. The pewter surfaces with minor surface scratches, light surface soiling and evidence of wax, minor rubbing and remnants of cleaning product to the recessed portions of the design, consistent with age and gentle use. The upper edges of the candlesticks with minor indentations consistent with gentle handling and not visually detractive. The lower portion of each candlestick with a minor indented area, which is the same on both candlesticks and therefore appears inherent in the making. The surfaces of the candlesticks have acquired a beautiful patina with age. A very nice pair showing the height of Olbrich’s design aesthetic.
