Condition
Overall in good condition, with evidences of use and age. The surfaces appear to have retained their original finish and present with some surface scratches, edge abrasions, surface soiling, and a few minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and use. The top of the desk and lower shelves with some surface stains from use, including water and ink stains. The proper right back leg with a small loss along the edge, measuring 3/4 x 1/4 inch, and a minor adjacent horizontal crack along the side along 2 1/4 inches, which don't affect the solidity of the piece. The interior of the desk with some evidences of use, including ink stains and a few inscriptions on the proper right upper drawer. The metal surfaces with rubbing to the patina and evidence of oxidation consistent with age and use. A classic and elegant shape by Stickley in original condition.
