Condition
Overall in good condition. When viewed in person, the color of the top is slightly more yellow than seen in the catalogue illustration, and the faces on the top of a richer brown, less red. The surfaces with a few light surface scratches, minute abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The painted wood base with a few surface scratches and minor edge abrasions throughout. On one side, the lower edge of the base with a restoration with an associated loss, measuring approximately 1 1/8 x 1/2 inches and another small loss along the edge, of 1 x 1/4 inch. One of the corners of the base with an area of a few hairline cracks, all seemingly stable. A unique and very evocative design by Jonckers.
