Condition

Please visit Sothebys.com or contact the 20th Century Design department for full description of the microphones. Overall in good condition. The metal surfaces with minor surface scratches, some small edge abrasions, minor pitting to the chromium-plate and light surface soiling to the recessed portions of the design, consistent with age and gentle handling. The labels of the microphones with wear to the inscriptions. The bases of the microphones have all been replaced at a later date, except for the base of the circular Universal Microphone, Model 3782, which is likely original and presents with losses to the lacquer as seen in the catalogue illustration. A rare opportunity to acquire a large set of table microphones at auction.
