Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the shagreen presents with a highly detailed surface with nuanced ivory color. The shagreen surfaces has been stabilized in a sensitive manner at some point in the history of the piece and presents with a few minor surface irregularities along the edges of the square elements and along the legs, only visible upon close inspection. The surfaces with a few minor surface scratches and minute edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The wood surfaces with a few minor scattered restorations, along the edges, only visible upon close inspection. The underside of each tier is covered with shagreen which presents with some surface scratches, discolorations and a few minor losses consistent with age and use and not at all visible when looking at the table. A very chic table, displaying one of the most iconic material of French Art Deco.
