Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks throughout, all stable. One orange tulip petal tile with a small chip adjacent to the leading measuring approximately ½ inch in length. The shade with light surface soiling to the glass and adjacent borders of the shade leading throughout, consistent with age and gentle handling. The shade does not appear to have any replaced glass tiles. The base displays with a rich brown bronze finish with light surface scratches, abrasions, surface soiling, and minor discolorations and areas of rubbing throughout, consistent with age and gentle handling. All three sockets appear to be from the period; two pull chains appear to be original with one chain replaced. With later reproduction finial with complimentary coloration to the base; the base wheel fitted with threaded pin. A highly artistic shade with diverse color palette and a wonderful mix of rippled, confetti, and translucent tiles, creating a dynamic pictorial effect.
