Provenance

Collection of Heber R. Bishop (1840-1902), and thence by descent. 

Condition

There is a crack through the diameter of the base and extending upwards to the body approx. 4 cm. The polychrome enamels with a matt and speckled surface, possibly due to slight over firing. Some expected wear to the surface and minor firing imperfections.Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
